Storing Pictures and Docs on FamilySearch

FamilySearch.org is used by the Busath Organization as a popular repository of family-related pictures and documents.

We urge all family memories to post their treasured images under Memories for each of the individuals involved in the image or document.

To get started using FamilySearch, visit our FAQs section, click on the first question, then click on the answer. It will take you to instructions to set up your FamilySearch account. Notice that above the instructions there are drop-down menus which lead to instructions for getting started with various functions in FamilySearch. The Memories menu will help you learn how to post pictures and documents.

We are fortunate to have a family member who is deeply involved with the development of FamilySearch. Feel free to comment on this post with any questions you might have as you go. We can get answers for you!

  1. I’m a big fan of FamilySearch. Everyone should take a look, learn about, and contribute to this website.

Family Search is an outstanding platform. I love using it to store my documents. The trick for me has been learning how to label them, sort them, group them, and share them with other pertinent individuals. How and why to use my Media Library. I also want to learn much more about the wonderful automatic sourcing: how to make and then document my decisions. Hopefully I will learn faster than I can do damage!
