FamilySearch provides a bounty of resources to help the family history researcher. The Research Wiki under the Search menu provides access to many research aids targeted to specific geographic locations. One can, for example, go to Norway Genealogy and its many related pages to learn how to do Norwegian genealogical research. And there are many ways to search records through the Search menu or from the page for an individual.
In addition, the FamilySearch Library in Salt Lake City contains many hardbound books not available online. The collection includes Norwegian local histories, commonly called farm books, that contain genealogical information on families living in the subject locality. There are, for example, farm books providing genealogical information on farms in Støren, Budal, Singsås, and Soknedal where many of our Busath ancestors resided. While they are secondary sources, they can greatly assist the researcher by providing names, places, and approximate dates to look for in primary sources.
And FamilySearch provides the means to consult with experts onsite or remotely through the help icon.
