Early in the 20th century, John Severin Steinsås began gathering all the information he could about the descendants of his great-grandparents, Jens Jensen Busath and Guru Andersen. His work was published in 1953 under the name Busethslekta. An English translation of Busethslekta (1953) is available on the Busath-Cheever Archive on Permanent.org at https://www.permanent.org/p/archive/06zh-0000/06zh-00×3/1260515/record/03tm-01k6.
That work was updated and extended under the direction of Ivar Brønstad and published in 1994 under the name Busethslekta.

The two Busethslekta volumes contain information on living people, but only information on deceased people is included in the PDF schedule.
